The Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) has released a new infographic, Adverse Drug Events Occurring in U.S. Hospitals, which visually presents data from HCUP Statistical Brief #164: Characteristics of Adverse Drug Events Originating During the Hospital Stay, 2011. This Statistical Brief includes HCUP data on the four most frequent specific causes of adverse drug events occurring during U.S. hospital stays in 2011.
