The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has released HCUP Fast Stats, a new online tool that provides easy access to the latest HCUP-based statistics for health information topics. HCUP Fast Stats uses visual statistical displays in stand-alone graphs, trend figures, or simple tables to convey complex information at a glance. The first topic in HCUP Fast Stats�Effect of Medicaid Expansion on Hospital Use�launched in July. Information on the effect of Medicaid expansion on hospital use will be updated regularly (quarterly or annually, as newer data become available).
