HCUP Data Use Agreements:
Responsibilities of the HCUP Data Purchaser:
As an HCUP database purchaser your responsibilities extend beyond those of a data user. You will be required to acknowledge these terms as part of the application process.

If you do not provide all of the information required, the processing of your request will be delayed as the AHRQ reviewers seek additional clarification.
Each application for and approval of HCUP data is project-specific. If you have previously purchased HCUP State data and wish to use the data for a purpose other than that originally approved, you must submit a "Data Re-use Request" to the HCUP Central Distributor for review and approval by AHRQ before work may begin on the new project.
